Job satisfaction is defined as the extent to which the job holder is self-motivated and satisfied with the job

Since the satisfied employee always focused to deliver the best of their capacity it is important to have a satisfied set of employees with the organization.

Strong career growth and work-life balance at the workplace are expected by all employees. They always look to give back to the company with their all efforts if they feel happy with their job profile. 

Job satisfaction can be seen from two perspectives in the organizational environment as below.

·        Get the maximum  out of the team to meet organization goals

·        High retention ratio to reduce additional cost and smooth operation to meet market demand



      Key elements and factors that are relevant   to job satisfaction


1) Compensations working conditions

Compensations such as

   Good salary, incentives, performance bonus, medical reimbursements, etc.

Healthy workplace 


2) Work-life balance

Ensure that employees have quality time to spend with their families.


3) Respect & recognition

Respect at the workplace and awarded for hard work are some of the key factors to job satisfaction.


4) Job security

The organization’s stability in the market is one of the main reasons for job satisfaction.


5) Challengers

Job rotations, job enrichment, etc. can help in job satisfaction who dissatisfied due to monotonous work activities.


6) Career development/growth

One of the higher priorities in the employee’s life is their career growth. If the company create room for grooming and gives them fresh job role, it enhances job satisfaction tremendously.
